Cert. 698.990, you are advised that the final settlement of the claim awaits a report from the Clerk of the Board of County Commissioners at Kobart, Oklahoma, called for Oct. 8 1917.

To aid in adjudicating a claim for reimbursement in the case of Peter Pixler, Inv. Cert. 698,990, who died July 29, 1917, at Roosevelt, Oklahoma, you are requested to furnish under cover of enclosed penalty envelope, a report showing whether an allowance has been or will be made from county funds toward the burial expenses of the late pensioner, and if so, the amount and to whom it has been or will be paid.

The enclosed envelope for your reply requires no postage.

No. 698,990, please state whether any allowance from the county fund under State law for the burial of indigent soldiers has been made to the Brown Furniture Company of Roosevelt, Oklahoma, or to any one else, or whether any application for such allowance has been filed.
